The first step is to thoroughly understand your business, your business goals, customers, and their expectations and behavior, and how your website factors into all of it. We’ll also look at the competitive landscape to establish context and benchmarks for how your site should function and then improve on that. This stage will give us the foundation for moving forward with just the right recommendations for the design and development of your new responsive website.
We will request that you supply us with the updated website copy, images, and any additional information to be displayed on your new website.
Once we have this information, we will start sketching out interface layouts, including the home page, sub-pages, the blog template, and any additional templates needed.
Next, we will provide you with a live preview on a temporary domain that shows you what the final design will look like on desktops, laptops, tablets, and smart-phone screen sizes.
We ask that you view your website on a desktop and mobile device, and send us any possible changes.
After making your requested adjustments, we will add your website content, build the contact forms, and add additional features. We will also develop your digital sitemap and start on the minor SEO service. During this period, we will be adding your social media links, social media feeds, social reviews, and social scheme markup. We will also add any other outbound links that you wish to have.
To accurately monitor your website visitor stats, a Google Analytics tracking code will be applied to each page.
After the development stage is complete, your website will be ready for the final review. We will make sure everything is working the way it should. We will test every link, internal and outbound, every contact/quote form, and any other additional features your website may have. A cross-browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, etc.) check will be performed, ensuring that your website looks great on every platform and device.
If you have any last-minute changes, now will be the time to address them. Once you have given the site the green light, it is time for the launch, and any further changes will be billed accordingly.
